Hmm....wondering will I be so hardworking like this so as to get recognition from my boss? Sometimes I just wonder is there a need for office politics? Just because so as to gain recognition/promotion or even pay rise, working executives just somehow cannot get away with such things.
I am definitely a hardworking worker and never really want to show it out in front of my colleagues or superior. Just wanna be down-to-earth person and do whatever I can on my job. Humans are just get jealous so easily.
Whatever the case, most importantly see how you want you job life to be and do whatever you can depending on how ambitious you are. It's not right or wrong thing to do, that's for sure.
