18 Jul - Rip Curl Beach Volleyball Championship 2006

It has been almost the entire month of Beach Volleyball for me...guess it's as equally addictive like shuffling to me. Just that at least it's the only sport I dun have much body contact unlike basketball, which risk more of sprained/twisted ankle.

This time round I tag with Roy, guess he can play much better during competition, with lotsa verbal encouragement from me. But guess I didnt perform too good, on my 4th game I got quite a bad cramp on my leg. But the first few matches are good.

Sian....now that Sunset Bay had to move out of Sentosa, it's a great pity and of cos inconvenience to travel. No matter what, I will still follow where it moves....cos Beach Volleyball is my passion!

1st July - VAS Finals, Style Magazine Beach Party, Sunset Bay Farewell Party

Guess it's the first time when there are so many events happening at the same place at Sunset Bay.

It's finally the final day of the VAS Beach Volleyball Open 2006. Only managed to get into the 12th position. So it really takes a lot to be good in beach volleyball. What had made me learnt this competition is that, always take competition seriously and not a joking matter. Cos some players cannot take jokes....so guess this is all human nature.

Managed to won some beach game -> "Sand Treasure", we tagged with Ong Ai Leng and got our muscles working so hard just for such a 8min event against another team with Adam Cheng. But our efforts didnt pay off, we got what we had dug and each of us (4 members) got a SWATCH watch. I am just so hard-up for prizes regardless of whether it's up the stage or not. So, there's nothing to be pai seh right?

At the late evening, was already starting another party of our own....drunken beach volleyball, but was not drunk actually. Was more high than being drunk even tho I had mixed my throat with beer, malibur, red wine and sip of whisky. SO think alot of my friends have been thinking I am already "UP" in paradise....:)
